Default Need help identifying these stamp photos.....

Picked these up yesterday. Never seen them before.
Ed Sauer is just a small photo and I believe that's his real signature.

The three stamp photos are just little bit smaller than a postage stamp.
Probably from the 30's.
Hugh Casey
Lena Blackburne
Hank Erickson

Does anybody know anything about these?

Thank you!

The 3-photo strips are George Burke Photo Stamps produced by Burke in the 1930's and sold directly to players for use in correspondence, fan mail, etc. They originally came in larger perforated sheets and are actual photos (not printed). Guess I should have noted it on the labels as I recognize those as being some that I sold previously

I don't recognize the other one.

And seeing the back of the Sauer reminded me that one was mine at one time as well. No additional info on it though other than it is signed by Sauer, and is also a small actual photo, though not by Burke.

Default Ed Sauer

A bit off topic, but on September 4, 1943 (71 years ago today) Nashville outfielder Ed Sauer, leading the Southern Association in hitting with a .369 average and in stolen bases with 30, is sold to the Chicago Cubs for cash, catcher Walter Ringhoffer and an undisclosed player. Sauer, recently voted league MVP in a poll conducted by the Nashville Banner, is to report at the end of the current Vols season...
