Default It is not a Colgan's Chips, so please feel free to help identify......

OK. I admit it. I don't know what it is, but it looks like a disc. It measures 1 AND 3/8 inches in diameter. Any help would be appreciated. I know it isn't a Colgan's Chips.

Brian,

Did you not get my private message? I have the same "issue" with the player being mordecai brown. These were cut from a Cubs team calendar back in the day... I can get an image of mine tomorrow if you wish...

I have learned a good deal about pre-war here on these boards but looking at the image of the Brown it looks like it certainly was cut out from something since the border looks like it was carefully cut from a larger piece. The original photo posted by the OP appears to be a perfectly cut circle that appears to be die cut and not cut freehand with a scissors. I will defer to those who are more knowledgeable than me but in my opinion the original photo looks like it was machine cut in some way.

I think they both look hand cut. Also the handwriting on the backs look the same.
