Default FS - 1952 Topps George Spencer Hi # **Reduced**

Card was graded PSA 1 before i freed it. Only issue seems to be with the top ink border above his hat. Still a very presentable hi #. $90 delivered.

That was a 1? Looks so much better than a 1 in my opinion.

Is that a pinhole top center?

It's not a pinhole, as it doesn't go through the card but there is a small indention on the backside. Almost looks like someone tried to make a pinhole but stopped before puncturing the card.

Default PH attempt?

Probably why it got a "1." Tuff grade, as rest of the card looks ok. No visible front creases. Any back issues?

I would think there would have to be an issue with the back of the card. An attempted pinhole gets a PSA 1 rating? That seems pretty strict. Card is decently centered too.

Thanks for the followup. Maybe PSA ass-u-me-d it was a pinhole and gave it a 1. Otherwise, it looks like a 3 outside 4 if that's just a little spot. Odd it has an indentation on the back in the same spot though. No light when you hold it up to a light source?

Here is a scan of the back that shows the indentation. No light comes through when held to a light source.
