I love the explanation with the Cobb Plow's Candy card. "If it is original, it is a $10,000 card. I don't want to deal with PSA." So I'm selling this $10,000 card for a $400 BIN.

I'm sure this in not a photo just glued to a piece of card board right, has to be original...

That Ruth has so much that's just wrong.
Aside from being a cabinet photo with a Ruth picture stuck on. The stamp is from 1887, 20+ years after the civil war tax on photographs was repealed. And it's a regular postage stamp not a tax stamp. And the cancel is a typical postal cancel rather than what's typical for revenue use. If it was a stamp from the 1860's used as a tax stamp, which did happen, it would be a fairly interesting illegal use. Probably not worth $99, but collectible and worth more than an ordinary cabinet photo. How much more would depend on the stamp. So fake Ruth, fake revenue use of a postage stamp. At least the cabinet mount looks like a real one... Steve B |

In a perfect world (dripping sarcasm), if there was a BIN or Best Offer for a fake, you would have the ability to offer the buyer an amount he would pay you to take it off his hands. That would then pay for the lighter and fluid for the disposal of the fake.
