Hi, I'm new on here, but was hoping I could get some opinions. I just recieved from a family friend, a bunch of old Cardinals memorabilia, and one of the items is a Lou Brock 3000th hit baseball ticket stub, and the certificate. I was comtemplating whether to keep it, or sell it on ebay, but after researching it, really can't figure out what this is worth. Any opinions?

Hello :
This is a very nice collectible ticket, as their are many collectors looking for 3,000 hit tickets, 500 home run tickets etc. Since the ticket is from 1979 and there were over 44,000 fans in attendance it is not a difficult ticket to find. Since the ticket and certificate are worth about $75 at most, if I was you I would just keep it and maybe start collecting the other players who made 3000 hits. Good luck, Phil |
