We started getting into a conversation about E99 floating head poses in the pick up thread so I figure this will be a better place to have a short discussion. My guess is they would come in one each of the different colors known, green, yellow, blue, purple or black. I think I have only seen one or two black backgrounds from the whole E99 set, and it wasn't a floating head, so those are still quite intriguing. Anyone care to show a few more?

Was this the first year any baseball card utilized the floating head design?
Love the floating look from this set, looks a lot better than other floating head cards out there, i.e. the rose rookie. |

very unique cards.
they remind me of that old star trek episode from the 60s when Kirk is taken over by the 'floating head' or should I say floating brain of Sargon. a wee bit creepy. all the best, barry |
