Welcome Natsfan!
You will find many folks here have tackled the tough 66s, and there is a lot of passion for this set. Still my favorite...it's a tough fun journey. Good luck! Keep an ebay search for card #591 saved... ![]()

I agree, its my favorite. You'll find some folks think it's bland...I think they are on crack...haha...

Agreed with John's recommendation to be on the lookout for #591, I also found that #544 was super hard to find! It is best to be on the lookout at your local shows and card shops from all the high numbers. They are pretty good trading currency for helping you finish the set...
Good luck! I will send you a PM, as I have some 66 Topps to trade

![]() Seriously, it is not a bad set but in my opinion it is sandwiched between two GREAT sets, the super colorful 1965 set (my personal fave) and the classic 1967 set. So, I think the 66 set gets lost in the shuffle because of this. |

Mine too. Working on 3 1965 Topps sets in various conditions.
However, I appreciate other Topps sets from that era and would like to see some scans of NatsFan's '66 Topps. Good luck on the set. |

I like the 66 set very much. Certain high numbers are extremely hard to find in good condition. Other than the high numbers I find the 67 set and the 61 set much easier to find. Being from Missouri, the 66 high numbers are much harder to find than 67's which have a hotbed in St. Louis. They must have shipped a lot of them there as the Cardinals won the Series in seven from Boston that year. I have heard from East Coast dealers that Boston also has quite a lot of 67 highs.
