| T206 Player autograph Doc Crandall

I know there is a whole subset of folks here who actively collect signatures of players from the T206 set. In general, how scarce is a Doc Crandall autograph? I am looking at picking up a two baseballs. One I was specifically interested in because it has 1930s signatures of many Hall of Famers, the other ball is a 1935 minor league team with a nice Doc Crandall. I was planning on just buying one but the owner wants to sell both together. Just wondering how tough Crandall really is and if I should grab both baseballs. Thanks for your input.

Hi Rhys, Thanks for the info. I really could only find one exemplar of his, so that combined with you only seeing 2 in 20 years I would assume would make it quite scarce. I went ahead and bought it and the other ball and will post a photo next week when it arrives in case any others would like to add an example of his signature to their exemplars. |
