Prism 1986 Decade of Champions litho signed (pencil) by Bobby Clarke, Julius Erving, Mike Schmidt and artist Dick Perez. Measures 25.75” x 21” and is numbered 364/500.
I was told that Prism carried home games of the Flyers, Sixers and Phillies and sold these prints (during a Phillies broadcast) as part of their 10th anniversary celebration. I have no paperwork so I’m not sure what this originally sold for. Dick Perez thought they went for either $200 or $250. There is some slight discoloration around the perimeter, from the original mat. Would be covered with same sized mat. $249 shipped. http://articles.philly.com/1986-08-2...sixers-celtics ![]() ![]() Last edited by otismalibu; 03-10-2013 at 09:26 AM. |

It is a nice piece...good looking autos. I may have it priced too high. The last one I saw on eBay went for $375 shipped, but it was matted and framed.
There's also a poster version with pre-printed autos of the players. |

I live in the Philadelphia television market. Some more background on Prism: They were a premium movie network like an HBO, but the network also broadcast Philadelphia pro sports, Philadelphia Big Five college basketball and WWF professional wrestling from the Spectrum. The show also ran a weekly sports talk show called "The Great Sports Debate," which featured local radio personalities from the WIP all-sports station in Philadelphia.
More than the sports, though, I can remember that Prism used to run some movies late Friday/Saturday nghts that a 16-year-old or 18 year-old male would find rather, um, interesting. ![]() The network met its end when Comcast bought Prism's parent company and started an all-sports network in town that continues to exst to this day. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PRISM_(TV_network) Last edited by Bored5000; 03-03-2013 at 03:46 AM. |
