Old houses
This is my wife and I's first winter in New Orleans. We are living in an old house. The house is very nice inside but has no insulation. The floor is so cold right now that if you put your hand on it your print will be there when you remove it. The heater has been in all day and the temperature inside has fallen.

A friend posted -27° this morning... Here in the Twin Cities. My 105-year-old house with a pretty new furnace... Is pumping out the heat... It's a workhorse! Between that and my kitty cat I'm keeping warm!

Right now it is -18 with a wind chill of -40 in Wisconsin. Not a good time to be in the mail delivery business.

I just looked at the weather channel and it looks like a low of 23 tonight in New Orleans. That is COLD for down there. Hope you can stay warm, Alex.
