Opinions on this 1980 Charlotte O's Cal Ripken on ebay

I went ahead and bid on it since the seller offers 14 day money back guarentee. I do not know why anyone would have this card graded by a company such as GEM, but it is very difficult to tell the authenticity of the card from the pictures. Can anyone tell if this card is a hoax from these pics? Maybe you own a copy yourself and can tell the difference(if any) from this one. Thanks
