Circa 1918-19 Photo Album with Alcorn University Baseball Team
Below are some pictures from a photo album that I recently picked up. The album offers a rare glimpse into the lives of a middle class college educated black family in the years around World War I. For negro league collectors the team photo is potentially the most interesting as Willie Foster played for the Alcorn team around this time.
