Anyone have experience with this for this issue? I have a high-grade R303-B premium 1939 (oversized, you know) that is now in baggie, which I hate for the look. Most that I've for that issue seem to get the baggie--but others for same issue do not. I'd like to have SGC put it in holder without the bag. I've had success with this with a couple of other issues but do you know if it will really float around? I'm willing to take some risk because hate the bag. Your thoughts? I realize not many have had R303s.

The baggie is there to protect. Keep it from banging against the gasket or floating PAST the gasket! I would rather it be there....

I would coat the gasket ring with silicon first ..just a light layer.. then compress it to the baggie..and it should be seal tight..although let it set for at least 24 hours

That is an incredibly fragile issue (Don't know if you have submitted many yourself). If the grade is 6 or better, I would be inclined to leave it alone. Even cautious handling can leave a thumb wrinkle and take it down to a 4 pretty quickly - just a little movement in the holder can easily leave a dent. I have several in PSA 5 and 6 if you are looking to fill out a set. PSA doesn't use the baggie - maybe cross over?

I would vote to leave it alone too, otherwise you might ding a corner. (if it's higher grade to start with as you mentioned)

![]() .... I've been partial to using BGS for this issue because of the interior hard plastic sleeve inside the massive Beckett holder. Naturally they got the ''A'' and '' B'' wrong but they have of course offered to fix it for free but I don't want it handled any more so it stays where it is . They are delicate . |
