Offered for sale is a super scarce signed check of Val Picinich. Picinich is incredibly tough to find, let alone on a single, let alone on a document such as a check. He passed away in 1942 at the way too young age of 46.
I have 5 different examples available. Picinich is the only man in history to catch no hitters for three separate clubs. He caught Joe Bush's no-no for the Philadelphia A's in 1916. He then caught Walter Johnson's masterpiece in 1920 with the Senators, then caught Howard Ehmke's gem in 1923 with the Red Sox. These are very affordable considering their scarcity and importance, as he caught three no hitters, one of which is the only one Walter Johnson threw. Asking $75 each delivered. ![]() |
