N173 Info/pics needed: Beckley, Duffy and Rusie
Hi, hopefully you guys can help me with these few cards.
Beckley, Jake: N173- need year. http://www.firstyearcards.com/Beckley__Jacob.html Duffy, Hugh: N173- need year. http://www.firstyearcards.com/Duffy__Hugh.html Rusie, Amos: N173- need pic. http://www.firstyearcards.com/Rusie__Amos.html Thank you for your comments/info in advance. Bill.

N173s for Beckley and Duffy could be 1888 or 1889, Rusie is 1889. Beckley can be dated to either 1888 or 1889 based on team shown with (St. Louis in 1888, Pittsburgh in 1889). It can otherwise be tough to determine if an N173 dates to 1888 or 1889. If it happens to be a colored mount it is likely 1888. Conversely, if it happens to be a Dogs Head mount it is 1889. But most are neither colored nor Dogs Head so it can be tough.

Nice site, Bill. Great pictures and resource. You can use this N173 Keefe image on your site if you want to. Not sure if you are only looking for rookie year cards. I don't think any n173 would be considered a rookie card as they were premiums for their fellow n172 cards.
