Burdick classified them as E271. You might change your title through the advanced edit tab in your post. They are very tough...

Having been in this hobby for going on 25 years, IMHO, Darby's are about as tough as tough gets! If you want one, buy in any condition.

I believe I remember seeing a die-cut "Chief" Myers for sale at the National. It was slabbed. May have been another player but it was a Darby.
