Questions About Old Gold Jackie Robinson (jumping version)
Hi-
I recently found the card scanned below at Brimfield and I have some concerns as to whether it is a reprint or real. I purchased it cheaply from an ephemera dealer who also had a 1948 Leaf (I think) football common that he said came in the same lot of old paper. Are these supposed to have gloss on the front? This one does. Do you think it is real? I know the other version was reprinted several years ago, was this one as well? I also am wondering about the bottom where it looks like this was possibly torn from something. Does anyone know how these were distributed? Or, is that the mark of a reprint?
