I'm having some good luck using it so we should have it available to us tonight for our annual tradition of meeting up while REA is ending. However, here are some things you should know --

I've had no problem using this in Firefox v3 and above as well as IE 9 and above on my Windows box. HOWEVER... this does not appear to be functioning for the iPad. Also, from what others are telling me, it is NOT functioning properly using Google Chrome or Safari. I wouldn't even try it with a smart phone...heh....

So if you get it up and running, you'll see an annoying blue background which is the default background and the font you'll be typing in is also blue which is not at all helpful. However, you can actually change both of these using the small icons right above the field that you type into. I personally recommend the "sea" background theme as it's light, not cluttered and you can see what you're typing on top of it. You can also change the font-size too which is also nice so that what is being typed is easier to read

The link on the homepage and all pages that takes you to the chat will read "0 Users in Chat" no matter how many people are in there. It doesn't appear that part is functioning properly. So if you really want to see how many people are inside, you just click on the link and enter the room.

I'll try to think of other helpful tidbits as I see them. In the meantime, feel free to give it a try and let me know your results....

A couple more things...

You must be logged in to Net 54 to be able to access the chatroom.

And, I did notice one other quirk. The font size size CAN be changed however to you, it will still appear very tiny. To everyone else, it will look like 14pt, 16pt, or whatever you chose.

Hard to believe, but its working on my smartphone. Android w/ Dolphin browser set to Desktop. Never had worked before, thanx Brian!
