You can see with the naked eye the gaps in the ink that was placed on the Hodges ball. It is fugly.

What are you complaining about? It's a reproduction signature. It was sold as a reproduction. And--just so there's no problem with possible future sales--it looks like a reproduction.
It's no different than the stamped baseballs that were sold at stadiums in the 1950s and 60s. |

David, his Babe Ruth ball looks like he is using your 1927 Ruth as an examplar.

I am fairly disappointed that someone can note a 'computer generated' ball is "$6000 if authentic" and using that as a sales pitch get $140. I understand it is sold as a reproduction and I have no problem with that... I am noting the absolutely ridiculous price the reproduction got. |

There sure is.
I saw a show where they were looking at stuff done by interior decorators. One in NYC had a small wall the client wanted made "more interesting" before a party. 3 cheap shelves, tracks and brackets maybe 20 cheap used books Some brown paper bags to make book covers like we did in Jr High. I figure the total cost must have been around $50. Price to the ![]() Makes a ball with a computer printed decal seem cheap at 145 Steve B |
