Default Fantasy Memorabilia

Here's a postcard I wouldn't mind finding at a flea market:

I love that the only person's face you can make out is an early Babe. Awesome job making this look like a real postcard.

You never know, Ben - I wouldn't be so cruel as to post such an image and tell you it was real

Interesting to see a batting cage with a catcher!

Here are some Negro League scorecards I designed for a movie that was never produced. Too bad, I thought they looked pretty good...

Geez, Gary, you ain't kiddin'. Heaven help all paper collectors if you ever went over to the dark side and used your powers for evil! Then again, with fantasy pieces like those, I'd probably still pick up a few. Those are beautiful!

Thanks! When they didn't go through with the film I got stuck with a box of them. I've sold soe over the years through my website. They look very period, but if you look close I did little things to give away that it's not real so they wouldn't pass the scrutiny of any collector. I used many of my friend's names in the advertising and put myself in some of the lineups and other things like that. Besides most of the Negro League programs were very dull affairs, that's why they had me make "period-correct" ones instead.
