Default Early 1900s generic baseball postcards

There are some great and inexpensive ways to enjoy the hobby. This is one of them, though "inexpensive" is a relative term. One reason the early 1900s generic postcards are fun to look at is because of their diversity. Here are a few....

Leon...I agree. Talk about diversity, I've had this card for a couple of years and still unsure if the player seated to the far left is a woman.

After picking up a 1907 Detroit Tigers post card a few weeks back I have been steadily on the lookout for these "generic" PC's. I love them!

Not only are the pictures very neat, I love the correspondence as well.

Oh life was so simple back then

I think life was probably simple back then but probably quite a bit tougher, I mean with no smart phones and all. I wonder what the kids even did. OH the humanity..

Leon- Is that Hinsdale the one in Massachusetts? If it is I'm amazed they even made a postcard. Hinsdale was and still is a small town even in an area of small towns. Population is only around 2000.

I used to live in the town next to it.

2000 population is a metropolis...I once had a postcard from Ballagh, Nebraska...a town that doesn't even exist anymore.

No positive Steve. The back has a very long message but the cancellation can't be read. It is addressed going to California...

POSTCARDS!!! My favorite subject! I don't really consider the postcards already posted in this thread as "Generic" though.
