I bought these two cards on ebay from Canada. I assumed they were trimmed when I was bidding, but now that I am looking at them, they don't look hand-cut because all of the sides are uniform. They do not look like they were cut with scissors anyway. The Gibson measures 3 1/2 cm by 6 1/4 cm and the Mack is 3 1/2 by 6 1/2 cm. Were these also issued without the borders or are these trimmed? Here are the scans...

An interesting thing I have noted over the years is that the V100 set seems to have an abnormally high percentage of cards that are lacking their extra wide borders. Perhaps scissoring is just a Canadian thing to do, eh? The ones I have encountered are obviously trimmed...yours looks like, if nothing else, a real nice trim, but I should leave that assessment to the trim and make it fit in a graded holder crowd.

To my knowledge, V100 cards have borders unless they are trimmed. Seen many a good trim job on these cards.
