Hi guys,
http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-1915-CR...item2a26ad1f03 I sent reports to ebay days ago but nothing's been done. These look like crappy aged reprints to me. There's quite a few listed by this guy/girl: Cicotte, Janvrin, carrigan, bush, tesreau, scott, salee, carey and speaker.... none going for huge money but Speaker is up to $49, I'd rather have these inexperienced buyers save their money this holiday season!

This guy got real defensive and threatening when I told him that his cards were fake. Lost his job, taking food off of his kids table, etc. He still believes the cards are real. Too bad there are still people out there who bid on cards without doing any research who support these kind of sellers. As much as I dislike the current grading systems it is getting to the point where ALL pre-war cards sold on ebay should be graded.

It is unfortunate and embarrassing that the seller is, yet another, person from Indiana

Yeah, I don't even bother trying to contact sellers anymore. It's always the same old stories. I don't want to hear anyone's sob story or their reasons why something is good when the opposite is obvious to anyone with any knowledge on an item. I just report items I believe to be bad to ebay, and usually nothing gets done anyway. It's frustrating. When I look at autographs, the amount of garbage is staggering and people could spend 24 hrs a days reporting the trash and still not catch half of it.
Wow, editing to add just looked at Cicotte price now, up over 162!!?!? People are gonna lose some money here unless the bay yanks these quick!

Tip #7: Don't buy from eBayers who use backgrounds that cause vertigo.
Seriously, if he thought the cards were real he would have used a plain background. |
