Good Morning,
I discovered these unknown cards yesterday at my client's house. There is a total of 16 card. These have peel off sticker backs to them. I tried to do some research but came up empty. Your help is appreciated on this! |

1983 Starliner Decals. They are later copies of the 1967 Dexter Press photos. At some point, there was some confusion as to the origin and PSA graded a few as 1967 examples. These are probably worth around 4-5 dollars.

These were printed by John Sterling who ran the Indianapolis show back in the 1970's.....later years someone else printed them with a different company back

Interesting stuff. Wasn't aware they were issued at different dates. I am assuming these are the first issue and the later ones were printed by Starliner in 1983?

Starliner is the brand of sticker stock that was used to print the stickers - not the actual publisher of the stickers. Thanks for the info on John Sterling.
http://mactac.com/index.php?id=72 The backing has a line of stars to indicate the seam in the backing from where the sticker can be removed; hence, Starliner. |
