Default Allen, TX show next weekend

I should make this clear, the show is only on Saturday the 20th.

I'll be setting up there -- probably with just local Rangers/Cowboys/Mavs/Stars and Texas related cards.

Leon usually drops by and if any other board members wants to drop by, keep me company, put a few cards out for sale,.... please let me know.

See you there, it is truly a nice little small show.

Rich

I'm located in Longview, Texas which is about 2.5 hours from Allen. Never been to the show. Can you provide some detail or a link?

Is there ever any baseball game used, or mostly just cards and auto's?

Nate - to answer your question, the shows I've been to in the past with this group have been primarily cards & autos - but the material varies from week to week.

I believe it was a knock off of Garland, Texas but am not positive. If you have ever been to Garland (as I have been about a million times) you will know what I mean. The King of the Hill crew are definitely Garland population candidates if they aren't from there in the first place.

Be careful about driving too far for this Allen Show. To set expectations correctly this is a very small show. It probably has 10 tables or so...Now, that being said I have set up there, have been to several of the shows, and hope to do the same again. I should be going to this one coming up.It's easy to go up there and spend a few hours or more just talking cards. It's a good group of guys and there are usually a few guys that come to the show just to shoot the crap. I believe I have bought a thing or two also. It's only about 15 minutes from my house so it's an easy jaunt. Collecting in person is better than through a keyboard, for me, so it's well worth it. Hope to see whomever can make it, up there.
