...or not, ajg is right, you are a mental case, Larry ....as am I and a lot of other card board collectors we know.
PS---knowing ratios on 63 peel offs is a dead give away, no matter what time it is Last edited by ALR-bishop; 08-18-2012 at 01:25 PM. |

....are never idiotic. They are however occasionally cryptic and enigmatic, and sometime even a tad terse

Am I the only one who considers this issue to have 3 back variations?
I call them "hands up" and "hands down". In my experience there are twice as many of the "hands down" version. I also believe that the ratio between instruction and black backs is closer to 9 to 1. I believe that proportionately more blank backs are submitted by people who appreciate the opinions of those who own encapsulation machines, and because of this, the ratio of encapsulated peel offs is different from the ratio of all peel offs. Hi doug
the reason i dont consider it is because if one wanted too one could easily make a hands up from a hands down larry |

Hmmmm. Interesting point. When I get home next month I'll have to play with a few of them to see if I agree with you.

Am interested in how this comes out. You two guys are a great source of info on this stuff
For years I was in a fantasy baseball league where the draft order was determined by drawing ping pong balls with numbers on them. This initially led to disputes about 6 v 9. Next someone tried to solve it by putting, he said, a line above the 9, which of course solved nothing...so we finally ( we were stubborn lot) had to go to a written out "nine" While I hope not to get into collecting these thing 2 ways...or 3 ways...for reporting purposes only in my set I have 39 Peels and 7 Blank Backs. If either of you wants a list of which is which in my set for your tracking, let me know Last edited by ALR-bishop; 08-20-2012 at 03:21 PM. |
