Anyone interested in 1939 Father and Sons Shoes cards???

Hi Gang:

I MAY be able to pick up a few of the rarely seen 1939 Father and Sons Shoe cards. In my mind these are the third toughest Philly area issued cards after the Lummis and Felin Franks (which were NOT actually issued) cards.

For you type set collectors this may be the only time you find one of these offered to add to your collection!

I need help in acquiring the lot. I only want to keep one or two. Leon has told me he will take one of them and now I am posting here to see if others will join in.

The price will be $500 per card. They have been described to me thusly:

There's little or no creasing noticeable. Some corners are a little soft, but not bad at all, especially considering they are oversize and from 1939. I believe most collectors would be very pleased with these, being over 70 years old. There are 4 Phillies and 4 A's. The 8 players are: Arnovich, Brucker, Caster, Davis, Gantenbein, Johnson, May, and Passeau.
