Index card hand signed in blue marker by German heavyweight champion Max Schmeling beautifully matted and framed to 13 x 16 inches with a reprint of a German language Schmeling boxing program. As indicated on the back of the frame, this was purchased in 1997 from The History Store of Wells Maine, which was a reputable historical autograph dealer. I don't believe they are in business anymore, but on his website well known non-sport autograph expert and director of the Autopen Library Stephen Beck lists The History Store as one of the most highly reputable online dealers of the time.
