I have quite a few Ruth cards but none from these series. For my focus these are a bit too common though a few of them are kind of tough....Great Ruth poses though.

Does this qualify?
Check out the (warning...puns ahead) walking feats of this elderly gentleman...not only did he make cross country jaunts, sometimes in the snow, sometimes backwards, but he accomplished these 'Ruthian' feats while wielding a big stick. And besides, because of the era he lived in, he probably had a wife, sister or cousin named Ruth. Actually many years ago I owned the E121 Ruth holding a bird card, but eventually sold it because it just didn't seem like a baseball card, with the Babe oddly holding a bird aloft and a creepy little man in an ill-fitting suit somehow getting in the picture. Maybe someone can post this card to show those who haven't seen it what I mean when I say odd and creepy. Brian Last edited by brianp-beme; 03-18-2012 at 11:35 AM. Reason: retraced my steps |

I owned a E121 Ruth w/ Bird for about a year. My only Ruth at the time. Couldn't stand looking at it and had to sell it to fund another (better) Ruth - E126.

I wanted to get one from the series and chose the montage. I like the E121-80 card too... but as a Yankees fan this one I feel just has a lot going for it.

Good choice Chesbro,
That's my favorite Ruth from the series as well, I'm thrilled to own one.

So in conclusion...NET54 combined owns 6(did I count right) babe ruth cards from e120/121/122/220...and not 1 is duplicated...all are different.
I am shocked there are so few of these represented...c'mon peoples...don't be shy!!!!! |
