Default What are these?

I saw these at a garage sale today and had to get them. I will be darned if I can find anything on the net about them, does anyone here know what these are?

My mother in law was from Japan she had a curio cabinet full of similiarly shaped and designed items. So my guess would be they are Japanese 1950s-1960s.

LOL that would just be my freakin' luck posting it for God and all creation to see er, duh what is this? Mother will be proud.

I think they are Kokeshi. Still can't find these specifically, they are cool.
