Default Yet Another T206 Wagner.......Disco Style

I'm flabbergasted. Government paper restores? An unemployed anthropology professor? I'm speechless.

Lovely Day...

An E95 with a Piedmont back, now that is rare!
What a find!

Maybe we can have a thread about when and why this was dropped from the T206 production cycle.

What is more interesting than this early attempt at a scam is the mention that 15-20 T206 Wagners were known to exist. Can anyone read the date on that article?

Anyone else notice the purchasing group included a 3rd partner from Cincinnati?

This caused quite a furor in the hobby back in the day, largely because the retired anthropology professor, Dick Reuss, was one of the early collecting scholars. writing articles and compiling checklists not previously available. Most of us presumed he'd know the difference between a T206 and an E card grafted onto a cigarette card back.
