Just a heads up for Ebay/Paypal users.
Paypal is now sending their payment confirmations with the originating e-mail as service@paypal.com, instead of from the customers forwarding address. If you don't notice it could affect your communication DSR score and have undeliverable e-mails bouncing back to you. Previously this only happened with e-check payments. Now all payments will have this wonderful feature. It also makes it more difficult to find specific payments in your e-mail box, when communicating with a customer for some reason or another. Normally I just hit "Reply" to confirm payment with the buyer. Now I have to go through additional steps to find the buyers e-mail in the subject text, copy and paste it in the "To" box and go from there. Word is that Paypal is promoting this as a "fix" of a technical issue. My guess is some technical genius at Paypal/Ebay needs to keep coming up with these "fixes", to justify their continued employment there. |
