1924 MLB Tomas Gutierrez Album

I was wondering if some board members out there are familiar with this issue?

I am very familiar with both the cards and album from the 1923-24 Cuban League series with Oscar Charleston, Pop Lloyd, etc. I have seen some individual album pages from each Major League Baseball team from 1924 but have never seen any matching cards. Does anyone know if cards were ever issued? I do know that some of the album images match the 1924 Diaz Cigarettes cards which were also produced by Tomas Gutierrez, I beleive. These only include pitchers but everyday players are pictured in the MLB album as well.

Thanks, Kenny, looks like my theory is correct, the Dazzy Vance image on there is the same one used for his Diaz Cigarettes RC. I have also been able to match up the Ted Lyons image from the Chicago (AL) page as well.

I have a few singles from these albums ("cards" cut from the pages). Never seen real cards that match the gold leaf edged cards exactly.
