I have a chance to buy some 1895 Mayo Cut Plug Baseball---Not sure if I should use SGC or PSA---I normally use PSA--but I know many collectors like SGC for Vintage Pre 1930---I would like some opinions on what this group thinks or prefers---thanks in advance Don

I love SGC, but I feel there is too much "black on black" with an SGC holder. I'd prefer PSA - just on this issue though.

Personally I trust SGC and BVG more than PSA.....but the PSA or BVG holders, being clear, might do this series better in eye appeal. You probably won't go too wrong whichever way you go. Good luck.

Thanks for the responce---I didnt think about SGC with the black on black---I would agree on PSA for eye appeal----I usually stay away from Beckett on vintage cards(prices seem much lower and demand also)---but thanks again, right now I am thinking PSA (because of their holders)----Don
