Last summer I found a 1949 Leaf album with 18 cards trimmed to fit the slots, what a shame. Other than the trimming, the condition and colors are incredible. They probably would have graded as an 8. The four main cards are Ruth, Williams, Rizzuto and Kluszewski. Whoever trimmed these cards did an excellent job, using the skills of a surgeon.
The album is also in near mint condition. I have not been able to find any value listed for it , other than that it is rare. This is my first time on the forum. At some point I will be putting these items up for sale, and I would appreciate any information as to the value of these items. Last edited by wally1710; 11-03-2011 at 08:39 AM. |
