Vancouver NW SABR meeting this Saturday
If you're in the Pacific NW this Saturday, please drop by the Vancouver NW SABR meeting. Details on Facebook .
The Vancouver NW SABR meeting will be Saturday, August 27. Thanks once again to the Vancouver Canadians, we'll be having the meeting at Nat Bailey Stadium. A post-meeting BBQ will follow at Max Weder and Jennifer Ettinger's. Last year, Ian and Colin Dixon were guest speakers, and we had over 40 people attending. Simon Pond, ex-Blue Jay and Brent Crowther (ex-Rockies organization), both North Vancouver natives, will be guest speakers. If poet Georg Bowering returns from his trip south in time, he'll talk about his new baseball book and how to rhyme "Reno" . Max
