I love your website...looking at all of the names and seeing some of their accomplishments. You have quite a collection.

Of note, you have a letter signed by someone from Brown University to their current pitching star. I have found the name of this person. Wilfred H Munro. He was captain of the class of 1870 baseball team and became a professor later at the school from the 1890's through the teens. No mention of his having played pro ball however.

Wow, thanks so much for that info on the 1870 Brown pitcher. I have had that letter for three years since I bought Michael Lynch's estate, sitting aside and my research was at a dead end, Thanks so much for the help!
