Default Could this Post Card be Ty Cobb??

http://cgi.ebay.com/160588700334?ru=...fvi%3D1&_rdc=1

Post dated 1907 and the card states that the kid on the left is Ty Cobb.

Seeking board opinions

thanks

also, what do rookie collectors make of postcards like these, say it's a 1901 photo that was later made into a postcard in 1907.

I saw that same card today. I was looking and think there are some similarities but it just doesn't seem like him. My opinion only but there's something missing. Something about the eyebrow area that seems off.

Also, did some searching for Morse in Georgia (schools, counties, cities) and came up empty which furthers my suspicions.

Agree. Good pic post, Mark--saved me the trouble of digging out one of my several biographies on Cobb which have pictures of him as a youngster.
