			Hey guys.

I've had this Cobb signature for a while now. I was just reading through the thread on Al Stump and was hoping to get a few opinions on the authenticity of my piece. Thanks a lot. Always appreciated.

doesn't look great. I'm far from any kind of expert but I always thought the line underneath should originate from the last B in Cobb. In yours, it looks like he drew another line underneath the name which doesn't seem consistent with other examples.

But, again, I'm no expert. |

"Cobb" is too deliberate. Like someone drew it very slowly. Should flow smoothly. Also line under not correct.

I also hate to be the bearer of bad news, but i don't think it is authentic. I have several cobb's, some of which are legal documents and checks.

There are many examples out there to compare with, sometimes his auto can be difficult, but the T just gives this signature away. I agree the signature does not look good, We bought a Cobb at auction on an old match book and that even matched well with auction examples. It ended up just a well done forgery
