Does anyone here have any idea what player is depicted on this baseball wall hanging that can be seen during an episode(s) of Seinfeld? On another forum (non-baseball related) it's being talked about as resembling Barack Obama--which, I agree, I think it does. But, of course that doesn't make any sense. Looking forward to your opinions!

I know that's the episode where Elaine and Jerry play matchmaker for George and Cynthia, thus dating it to 1992. The player looks generic but at least you have a year to go by.

The poster is a Memphis Chicks Schedule poster from the late 1980's or early 1990's (notice the Chicks patch on the left sleeve). I had one in my room during that time period. Once people noticed the poster on Seinfeld they were for sale all over town.
Hope this helps... but pretty sure it does not depict Barack Obama (he would have been a first year law student at Harvard around the time it was issued) Good Luck tracking one down - - - |
