The Wife Is Permamently Out Of The Store. LOL!
Slightly off topic I guess.........but...
I was going through some boxing programs and found this ad from a guy who ran a Baseball Card Shop and Promoted Boxing matches on the side in Lansing, Michigan. I got a bit of a chuckle out of it. Don't know if any others are familiar with him.

It was always sales week when the Mrs. when back home to visit family in New York too. Paying in cash? Take another 20% off. Buying five 1984 Donruss factory sets ? Here are five 1985 Donruss sets gratis. They're taking up space. His store would be hopping. Elliott wheeling and dealing left and right. Like a shop bar on payday, but without the booze, beer, and waitresses. My first T206 purchases were from Elliott during one of his wife is gone sales. A pair of Matthewsons (one black cap, one white cap). Those were the days.
