Zee-Nut Checklist/Lists

I am interested in collecting Zee-Nut cards from the era of 1924-1935 and was just wondering if there is a single source that has a checklist/list of all those cards by year or teams or whatever designation? Also thinking of focusing on collecting all the pitchers who faced Joe Dimaggio during his 61 game streak in 1933. If anyone knows a source for that feat I would be interested? I figure that would be a very challenging set to amass. Thanks in advance

You need the Horne book too, although it is a bit out of date. I'll post more details on that when I can dig my copy out or someone else will chime in, I'm sure.

The Jim Horne booklet is still valid for the years that you are interested in collecting the Sacramento players (I believe that Jim Manos still sells a copy of it on ebay). This is a great source of information for a team collector as each year is grouped by team designation. The only difference in the accuracy of its Sacramento listings in your time frame might be in the 1933-36 issues--I know that Borja has an additional size variation not listed in Horne's book, and heaven knows some others could pop up in this grouping down the road.

The Beckett Almanac of Baseball Cards also has all the Zeenut cards listed within teams alphabetically. So if you already have this catalog you can use their listing. However, this can be frustrating and tricky, because no team names are designated within each years' listing. You have to know/figure out where the names of the Sacramento players start and stop. For example, in the 1924 issue, M.J. Wolfer of Portland is listed as #58, and #59 is Harry Brown of Sacramento, and the Sacramento listing continues through card #74, Moses Yellowhorse, and then continues with Salt Lake player Fred Coumbe. A nice feature about the Beckett listing is that, unlike the SCD and Horne listings, the vast majority of players in Beckett have their first name listed. Also, the SCD listing does not include team designations, as each year is in strict alphabetical order of all cards issued.
