I recently saw an ad in the Wrapper from a guy claiming to be an expert in such matters. I'll look for it, and if I find it, I'll let you know. But by that time I'm sure someone here will beat me to the punch ;-)

His name is Dick Towle. Due to the stock, these won't soak well.

That last post is quite understated. They don't soak worth a damn... a good way to destroy them.

The T200's as well as the T222's were issued on very thin, glossy stock. It is definitely a risk to soak either type of Fatima.

I had a t222 once that had paper stuck all over the back. I didn't soak it but just dabbed at the paper with a wet q-tip and gently scraped off the paper. I think as long as you dont get the fronts wet it is possible to remove paper from the backs.
I would try to cut them out around the paper or lightly pull them off with paper still stuck on the reverses. Then maybe go about removing what is on the back. But like many have said you can't soak them due to the photographic fronts. Justin |

Dick Towle is a pro and has all sorts of ways to remove paper from different card surfaces. I would go to him first.

And the premiums from this series are especially fragile. It might be the most fragile card I have in my collection, as well as being one of, if not THE, largest......regards

Actually, the guy in The Wrapper offering card removal service was Terry Mitchell (Coauthor of American Tobacco Cards). His email is terencetrm@gmail.com

Joltinjo- are they going to be kept together in your personal collection or do you plan on selling them, either as a group or individually? If you do get the paper off, are you planning on trying to get them graded? Just curious.
