Hi, recently picked up this card, (one on left) of Jack Johnson. It is blank backed and slightly smaller than a caramel card as shown. Any information would be appreciated.
My scanner recently broke so very sorry for the horrible camera pic. Should be getting a scanner soon. Thanks, Justin Also the card came with E75's, E79's and E80's so should date to around that era. ![]() Last edited by jpaol99; 07-12-2010 at 10:17 PM. |

I don't think that card has ever been assigned a designation. Adam would know better though. There's another similar card of James Jeffries.
I don't think anybody knows exactly where they came from. Not super common but not particularly rare either, unless it's in high grade condition. |

It is an anonymously-issued candy card ca. 1910, and has a Jeffries companion. Tougher than most candy cards but not impossible--I'd say a handful surface each year on Ebay. Pricing has been all over the place and is highly dependent on condition.
