Unidentified Cy Williams stamp/tattoo help

Anyone seen any others like this or know anymore about it than the obvious? I picked it up from David Bryan, via ebay, and neither of us have any idea. It reminds me of the German stamps but it's not one of those.

Great! Another Phillie to add to the list...darn...wish I could help with this but have never seen one before. Wish I had seen it too.

Never seen it, it is different than the 1923 ones, yours is full color and has no line around border, plus it is better quality image/printing overall.

I have a few of them applied to backs of Exhibit cards from the 1920s. I also have an unbroken sheet in the same style from the Dempsey/Tunney II fight so I'd peg them around 1927.
