Kaline Rookie

What is the deal with the top border of the '54 Kaline? I have yet to find one with the white border on top.

Original 1954 Topps cards do not have a white border at top.

The reprints (Heritage/Vintage....Topps/Upper Deck/Bowman..) from the last few years do however. be careful

Glad I asked. I was checking other '54 Topps and all that I checked DO have the border on top. That is why I was suspect. Thanks a million.

I should also add that I come to this forum first because I respect the members and feel that I will get the truth ASAP (no matter how dumb my question might be). So, thanks again Wolfdogg.

If you see a 1954 Topps with the white border on top, run as far away as fast as you can!
