There really are no established T205 multipliers that I've seen. |

...there was a T205 back rarity thread on here. I'd find the link for you but I'm not good at munipulating the NT54 search function. |

About two years ago there was a large hoard of T205 Cycles found...this hurt the multiplier. I think the above poster was accurate in that it is now usually 1.5 to 2 times the piedmont value. Hope this helps. |

Just thought I would mention the great article in SGC Collector Magazine by Shawn Adkins that discusses the T 205 set in depth, with pictures!...great info!!!! Talks about back scarcity , trimming and much more!!! |

I don't usually bump old threads but this one has a good graph I want to ask a question about. Do ya'll think that with the recent St.Louis find of Drum cards, T205 specifically, the Hindu might have surpassed the Drum in known examples.....hence rarity? (Yes, I have a vested interest but it's still a good question, I think) regards

Sure, any find will skew the numbers a bit. I would guess the two are pretty close to equal now.

In the only article I could locate on the St. Louis find, it said there were 8 t205 drum backs in it and this would have tripled the known pop. Around 25 known total? An older post here estimated about 100 t205 hindus...Do those numbers sound about right? Ted Z. was mentioned in the article, maybe he has some #s

100 Hindus sounds like an awful lot.

ps...Lew Lipset, I believe, has thought the Hindus were more scarce than Drums. Drums might be more valuable because of the aura of the T206 set.

Legendary had another small group of 205 Drums at the last Philly show-I think it was 7 or 9 of them. This was after the St. Louis find.
Ted has the list of players.

Many of us realize how rare the T205 blank back is .... but any guesses as to what a fair multiple would be?
