Pronounciation?
"ooooo-ZIT" or "use-IT"?
I cannot for the life of me call it "use-it". Im guessing thats the correct pronounciation though isnt it?

First you need the correct spelling- it's "Von"
Then I would pronounce it VON-der-aye

Subconscious typo on my part.
 I'm know a few people that were named Vander Ark, Vanderkellen, etc. I've heard some people turn the Ahe in Von der Ahe into a two-syllable word but that never seemed right to me.

When Ward Cleaver showed June the autographed baseball he got as a child (the one that Beaver and Larry Mondello accidentally destroyed), she thought Ki Ki Cuyler sounded like a fan dancer. I thought that was funny.
