I am curious to see what the majority of Net 54 members have in their respective collections. I would expect T cards to lead the way, however I'd like to see how other types pan out.
Even though I collect a couple different types, my collection is dominated by Goudey and Topps right now. Thanks so much for participating...again this is just me being nosey. Thanks - Rob

While I would love to have a broader scope, paying my friends at Skidmore, Art Institute of California and Johns Hopkins has put quite a dent in my card budget.
As a result, I am almost exclusively an Old Judge collector these days. |

I traded away everything else (except the dust collecting boxes of modern cards) for T206 cards...........so now I am at 100% T206.

E cards dominate my collection with a total of 8. T cards are a close second with 7, followed by M cards (4,) N cards (2,) and a tie between H and W cards (1 each.)

Total randomness describes my collecting habits (my ADD makes it hard to focus on one thing). When I feel like accomplishing something I'll pick up graded 1963-64 Parkhurst hockey cards I need for my set (then the ADD sets back in).

Jeff, I think we share the same collector ADD. At first I tried to concentrate on my 1933 Goudey set, and now I am working on about 8 different sets/themes...but that is of course what makes this hobby so great and addicting at the same time.

I voted other because I collect primarily St. Louis Cardinals cards of all types.

"My Wallet" dominates my collection... lol
i guess i would say not alot dominates as most of my collection was stolen... However, when i do start to buy again, i will start in the 70's and go backwards primarily focusing on baseball cards, signed balls, gloves, bats and hockey cards. I will post up WTB ads when i am ready. What i have left is mostly newer football, UFC cards, and some 70s and 80's hockey. I still have a few 50's and 60s baseball left. I need to educate myself more on tobacco cards. I had a few t206's before and a couple t205's but nothing great. I bought them back in 1997 on ebay for under 5$ apiece just to have them. right now this board inspires me, educates me and makes me really jealous of peoples collections. |

I suppose it depends on what you mean by "dominates". Not trying to play a semantics game, but if you are talking pure quantity of cards, I would have to say Goudeys (R-cards). I wouldn't say that the Goudeys define my collection, though. I would say that I am much more of an E-card collector - namely HOFers of E107 and E103. So, I answered your poll with E-cards since they represent the most significant (and I guess expensive) part of my collection.

Hey Brian,
I guess you can characterize that question any way you want. Sounds like either answer would have been correct. My Goudey cards dominate my collection from a pure number standpoint; however I have plenty of other cards that make my collection what it is. Thank you and everyone else for voting...the results are interesting, but pretty much in line with that I anticipated. Rob
