Negro League Broadside for Sale (1950 Ind. Clowns)
Now on ebay. My id is pstewart493r.
Up for sale is a Negro League broadside featuring the Indianapolis Clowns. I purchased it from Huggins & Scott and it is guaranteed to be original and unaltered. According to Huggins & Scott, it is from 1950. [But see the email below - it is more likely from 1961.] It's in great shape with beautiful colors. The individual players are shown clearly enough to be easily identified if you happen to know who they are (but I don't). The price is $100 shipped, either flat or in a tube, your choice. The dimensions are 14 1/8" x 22 1/4". A scan is shown below, but you can see a larger version of the same scan at http://october09.hugginsandscott.com...gor_league.jpg.
